Committees are the pistons that power an organization’s engine. They are vital to our organization because they make things happen. Members apply their expertise, experience, research within the organization and outreach to external resources to determine which services to pursue and then to execute, create, test, manage and continuously improve performance. The open, interactive nature of committees is important because it can accommodate various points of view and encourage group problem-solving.
