Avon Volunteer Fire Department to Host Annual Blood Drive

For members of the Avon Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD), saving lives comes with the territory and opportunities to help people arise every day. Luckily, they aren’t the only people who can save lives – by donating a pint of blood to the American Red Cross, just about anyone can help. And, a single pint of blood can save up to three lives.

On Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., the AVFD will hold a blood drive at its Company 1 fire station located at 25 Darling Drive.
