Coffee with the Chiefs
The Avon Volunteer Fire Department invites residents to join Fire Chief Bruce Appell and members of department leadership for “Coffee with the Chiefs,” a casual, drop-in opportunity to connect and learn more about your fire department.
This informal event is designed to provide insight into how AVFD operates and what it takes to deliver reliable, modern emergency services in today’s environment.
Residents are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and engage in open conversation about topics including:
- Fire protection and water supply
- Emergency response operations
- Apparatus and equipment needs
- Firehouse facilities and infrastructure
- Fire safety and prevention
