Avon Girl Raises Money for AVFD

Over the summer, 10-year-old Tanvi Arora participated in the Avon Free Public Library‘s craft fair and sold handmade greeting cards as a fundraiser for the Avon Volunteer Fire Department. She raised $80 and her parents, Ashish and Shikha Arora, helped her out by rounding the contribution up to an even $100. 2016-08-10-11-54-00

Earlier this month, Tanvi presented AVFD president Rob Shillington with a check and a note that read:

Dear AVFD,
I would like to thank you for all the services you do in our community. Please accept this money that I raised for you selling greeting cards during the summer. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Tanvi Arora

Tanvi, thank YOU for your hard work and dedication to helping your community. Every dollar counts and we are very grateful!
